“[Death is] life’s change agent.” My Tribute to Steve Jobs

Last night, the world lost a visionary and a genius. His name was Steve Jobs.

Steve Jobs was the visionary behind Apple Inc.

The products of his magical mind include the groundbreaking MacIntosh, iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad. He was behind the first and the best animation studio in Pixar. He changed the way we use computers, he made us fall in love with everything Apple.

He achieved all this in his 56 years on this planet. In his 2005 commencement address to Stanford, he remarked:

Death is the single best invention of life. Its life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new.

If Steve Jobs was the old, then I can’t wait for the new. The future heralds something even greater than even Jobs could imagine.
